Liturgical Reading For The Offering — The Burning Bush

by Bobby Gilles

in Liturgy & Sermons

Here is a script I’ve written for the offering portion of our worship service liturgy, specifically for a service that features a sermon on the story of Moses and the burning bush. Feel free to use it in your own worship services. And you can get more liturgical readings in our Liturgy & Sermons category here at My Song In The Night.

We serve the God who spoke the universe into being, who appeared to Moses in great flames, and who brings mighty oppressors to ruin. He doesn’t need our money, but we get to give it, for his glory.

Let’s pray this together:

Father, thank you for loving us enough
To let us participate in your mission.

If you’re a visitor this morning, don’t feel obligated to give. This service is our gift to you, from coffee to childcare, because the people around you are some of the most generous people you’ll ever meet.

And now, the giving baskets will go around as we continue to sing.

Get chord sheet, piano lead sheet and audio for the modern offering hymn “All I Have Is Yours.”
