Yesterday at the New Albany campus of Sojourn Community Church, we hosted hundreds of families at our Back To School Bash for the neighborhoods surrounding our campus. As a church, we had collected $9000 worth of seven school supplies that local teachers require each child to bring when class starts later this week.
We assembled 600 bags, each containing these seven items: 1 box, 2 dry erase markers, 2 glue sticks, 1 box of 24 #2 yellow pencils, 1 bottle of hand sanitizer, 1 box of 24 crayons, 3-pack of flat erasers.
