Liturgical Reading For The Offering In A Multi-Cultural Service

by Bobby Gilles

in Liturgy & Sermons

Here is a script I’ve written for the offering portion of our worship service liturgy, specifically for a multi-cultural setting or to go with a sermon that teaches we are all one family, in Christ. Feel free to use it in your own worship services. And you can get more liturgical readings in our Liturgy & Sermons category here at My Song In The Night.

God loves a cheerful giver, whether that giver is rich or poor, black or white, male or female.

Read the underlined portions aloud with me:

Father, you have uniquely made each of us as men and women in Your image,
and you sent Your Son to save all of us to the fullest.
Accept these gifts as tokens of our affection for you.

If you’re not a Christian, we’re not asking for your money. This service is our gift to you. For those who are Christians, the giving baskets will go around as we continue to sing.

Get chord sheet, piano lead sheet and audio for the modern offering hymn “All I Have Is Yours.”
