This morning we get to celebrate that we’ve been made one body through the work of Jesus Christ as we read in Ephesians 3:6 (maybe NLT)

6 This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.                                                                                                          -Ephesians 3:2-6 NIV

When we give to God’s church, we acknowledge that the “glorious riches” God has given us are worth far more than anything we offer in return.

If you would like, read this prayer aloud with me as we prepare our tithes and offerings:

Lord, you give us all that is good –

Our homes, our food, our families and even our lives.

In thanks, we sacrificially give to your church.

Use these gifts to show your abundant grace

to those who need you.
