Introducing The Gospel For Little Ones

The Austin Stone in Austin, Texas is one of mine and Kristen’s favorite churches. We love their gospel focus, their people, their commitment to missions, and their rock solid worship ministry. And now we have another reason to love them. Just in time for the birth of our daughter Lydiana, they’ve released The Gospel for Little Ones, a board book that tells the full gospel, from Genesis to Revelation, in words that small children can understand.

I love the fact that this book is printed on board material, so babies won’t be able to rip the pages. Before they’re able to understand the words, they’ll love the pictures. And once they are a little older, they’ll pay attention to the words from a book they already love.

Katie Ornelas and Anna Sargeant wrote The Gospel For Little Ones, and Dave Schwab drew the artwork. We’re excited to have this for Lydiana. And here’s a secret — children’s books like this are just as much for the parents as for the kids. This little book will help us remember, every time we read it, that Jesus is the main point of the entire Bible.

The video looks like an extremely effective post for sharing the gospel to little children. Praise the Lord!
