This Sunday we began a new series, Our Sojourn, where we explore God’s mission and vision for Sojourn Community Church. Pastor Jonah Sage preached about our mission to reach people with the gospel, build them up as God’s church, and send them to all the world. His text was Matthew 28:16-20. CALL TO WORSHIP
Good morning… welcome to sojourn! Whenever we gather, we do so around Jesus, because of Jesus – the true vine. Hear this prophecy of the rock upon which we stand – Jesus our Lord and King:
11 Out of the stump of David’s family will grow a shoot—
yes, a new Branch bearing fruit from the old root.
2 And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on him—
the Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and might,
