CALL TO WORSHIP
Good Morning Sojourners and welcome guests! (Briefly ask guests to pardon our mess and how to find the restrooms 🙂 It feels great to be back with our church family! Last week we discussed God’s kindness and the the fruit of the Spirit, Kindness. Because of God’s kindness, not anything we have done, he didn’t leave us in our sin but redeemed us. In this same spirit God calls us to worship Him, not because we are good but because He is good. Read this with me as we respond to God’s call for us to worship Him:
Taste and see that the Lord is good.
Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!

CONFESSION
The proof of God’s amazing grace is this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence,
So that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in our time of need.

Friends, we can have confidence that God hears us and doesn’t condemn us, when we confess our sins. Let’s take a few moments to confess our sins together. (Ambient instrumental music)

ASSURANCE/GIVING
Let’s hear and declare the good news we have to celebrate today together:
This saying is sure and worthy of full acceptance,
that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross,
that we might be dead to sin, and alive to all that is good.

God showed us his eternal goodness in our savior, Jesus. Jesus took the punishment we deserved so that we could have life and all that is good in God’s kingdom. Let’s thank him and celebrate his goodness as we prepare our tithes and offerings.
When we give to God’s church, we acknowledge that the greatest gift of all has come, and will come again.
Let’s pray these words together:
Father, in the presence of each other
We bring you this offering, believing
That your gift to us is more than enough for our needs
Amen! Let’s continue to sing as the giving baskets are passed around…
