Trinitarian Worship – Free Playlist Of Trinity Praise Songs And Hymns

Many pastors and theologians have lamented the lack of trinitarian language in contemporary worship songs — and even in many classic hymns for that matter. Yet songs in praise of the trinity are out there, and Bobby have found over twenty of them for you. We’ve curated them in our brand new Spotify Playlist.

Some of these songs focus on the work of either the Father, Son or Holy Spirit in relation to the other persons, while some focus on all three persons of our one great God. These songs would be great for your Trinity Sunday worship services, as well as any other Sunday or season of the Christian Year.

If you are an email subscriber, you will have to click through to the website to access this playlist, or subscribe to it for free, straight from Spotify. Here is the embedded playlist — over 100 minutes of songs about the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, our truine God:

Surprised you did have any songs from Brian Doerksen’s “Holy God” album. 🙂

Great list! It is surprisingly difficult to find songs that address all three persons of the trinity. Usually it’s an old hymn or praise song, like “Holy, Holy, Holy” or Thomas Ken’s “Doxology.” One of the more recent ones that come to mind is “Grace Alone” by Dustin Kensrue. In it each person of the trinity is given a verse (Father, then Son, then Spirit). I remember having a conversation with my pastor about the lack of Holy Spirit songs, and talking about songs that glorify the Trinity naturally came up.
